Northfield Development Ashurst

A revised development plan has been submitted to WLBC for the development of 27 new houses on the Northfield site in Ashurst.

MANY complaints have already been submitted about this development and although the “official” Neighbour Consultation date has expired, all comments will be considered before the plans go to the planning committee.

I cannot promise we will stop this going ahead, the planning application has been submitted by “Tawd Valley Developments” which is the councils own development company, but we can still voice our concerns about the continual building in Ashurst.

I will be asking as many people as possible, who are against this development, to follow the link here and make a comment on the application.

The parking outside the school is a real problem and adding more houses will only exacerbate the problem.

Ashurst needs more infrastructure! With long waiting times to see the doctor, limited school places and a terrible parking situation, now is NOT the time to keep throwing up houses in Ashurst.

I will stand up for you, I will spread the word about this issue and I will try to get someone to speak on behalf of residents at the planning committee meeting that will be held about this development.

It is NOT too late for your voice to be heard please share this far and wide and let’s get as many objections as possible.

  1. Why has the council building site on thee ashurst roundabout stopped working and is it correct that Laurus are now involved?? Would the site have been approved despite the 500 complaints if Laurus had been named on the initial planning application
