Litter Picking Assembly At St James’ Ashurst

I took my first ever assembly this morning, on behalf of Skem First, and couldn’t be more happy with how it went. Thank you so much to St James’ Skelmersdale, in Ashurst, for allowing me to come in to and speak to the children about litter.

The kids were really well behaved, fully engaged and had a whole bunch of ideas and questions.

I believe a generational change is needed in Skelmersdale and I’m thrilled that the kids are so interested in learning about this topic.

Thank you to all the CleanUp Skem volunteers who have worked tirelessly over the past 10-12 weeks to make the Clough clean. The kids LOVED seeing all the rubbish pulled from the clough and then the final result of it all cleaned up.
