How can you not love where you live when you have all this beauty right on your doorstep?
Ashurst is gorgeous. I love that the kids are growing up and making amazing memories here.
Me an hour ago:
“Come on kids, you aren’t sitting on your phones and ipads all day! Get your coats we are going to Cobbs Clough!”
My kids an hour ago:
“Do we have to? What’s Cobbs Clough? But it’s raining!”
Me 2 minutes ago:
“Right kids time to go home now, we’ve had an hour!”
My kids 2 minutes ago:
“Oh, do we have to? Dad can we bring our bikes next time? But it isn’t raining anymore! But we’ve built a den!”
Sometimes dad does know best! Cobbs Clough is brilliant and I’m glad I took them for an hour! They want to go back tomorrow too.
