Westheads Clough (Ashurst, Elmers Green & Birch Green), is now officially listed on Google Maps. I’ve created a listing for it and indexed it in Google. The plan is to do that for all the nice places Skelmersdale has to offer. I was shocked to see that when you search “things to do in Skelmersdale”, the list of suggestions are TERRIBLE.
I want to change that by making sure all our Cloughs, heritage sites, Tawd Valley etc come up when people are searching for things to do around here. I’ll also be submitting them to SatNav, TomTom etc so that they show up as “points of interest” on GPS.
Skem has a LOT to offer that outsiders have no idea about.
