We have so many incredible residents in Skelmersdale that have been doing such wonderful things for the town over the past 12 months.
I contacted Kerry Cevik and asked her if she’d make some “Love Skem” cupcakes that I could award to local residents who have gone above and beyond in the past 12 months.
I picked 7 winners to receive for amazing cupcakes from Kerry who very graciously gave me a discount because it was supporting a good cause.
The winners are:
Mike Flaherty, Andrew Traynor, Debbie Bond, Terry Lake (Jen Lake), Peter Meadows for services to the environment. They are continually volunteering down the Tawd or arranging litter picks in our Cloughs, Parks & Public spaces,
Yvonne Gagen / Sharon McSorley for their involvement in Christmas Cars and all the other great things they do in the community.
Neil Furey, we give him a hard time but we do actually really like Neil. He is a councillor that isn’t afraid to get stuck in or let us know what’s happening.
Emma Mountain / David Scott for the INCREDIBLE work they do with their team at Birchwood & Ennerdale house.
Dave Beeston, Sam Duhaney, Janice Reed, Sara McGonigal. I couldn’t run Skem First or All About Ashurst without this incredible team. They put so much in and I am extremely grateful for all of them.
